2 Myths About Burnout
There are a lot of myths about burnout.
One of them is that a beach vacation will somehow magically fix your burnout problem... but the reality is that it won’t. For example, 355 days of not having boundaries will not be fixed by 10 days on the beach, no matter what you do.
Another one is that you can end your day with wine or beer, and somehow that’s gonna magically make your problems go away, but it doesn’t. Instead, it actually tends to compound them.
So instead of beach vacations and wine to fix your burnout problem...
What you actually need to do is build a daily habit of journaling. Journaling is a powerful way to help you be self-reflective and enables you to be on purpose throughout the day.
The other thing you can do is just as simple as going for a walk or having about 20 minutes of exercise, which will hyperoxygenate your blood.
