3 Actions to Avoid Burnout
#1 Exercise
20 mins a day will do the trick. Go for a walk, play pickleball...whatever you do, the goal is to sweat. This is going to hyper-oxygenate your blood, and it is going to make your brain feel great!
If you feel like you don't have time to exercise, I challenge you to take someone on a walking meeting, and you will accomplish two goals at once.
#2 Get off Caffeine
Caffeine gives you a false energy high, which also means it will create an energy crash. This will exhaust your body over time. A quick tip is to drink more water to compensate for the caffeine.
#3 Maintain a Consistent Friend Time
Hanging out with a friend consistently every week is incredibly powerful. It could be over coffee or tea, but the point is to meet. Friends help us to maintain perspective outside of your stressful and busy work world.
